Wellness Clinic Day with Mind Aid Mobile
MacTier: Tuesday, October 6 from 1-7 pm (parking lot)
Free private access to a mental health professional from 1pm-4pm (ages 18 yrs and under) and free private access to our NP (nurse practicioner) to anyone unattached to primary care 5-7 pm (ages 30 yrs and under). Both services are first-come, first-served. Mental health appointments are up to one hour and NP appointments are for 15 minutes. Both require a brief intake prior to a client seeing one of our Wellness Professionals.

Indoor Houseplant Exchange
Baxter Ward Community Centre: Friday, October 23 at 10:30 am
Bring a plant, take a plant! Connect with fellow plant enthusiasts and freshen up your home with some new greenery. Bring up to five healthy, pest-free indoor plants, or cuttings with roots. Please bring plants in a small container to give away.

Best selling and award-winning author of Moon of the Crusted Snow and Moon of the Turning Leaves. Waubgeshig grew up in Wasauksing First Nation, near Parry Sound and now lives in Sudbury. He also worked for two decades as a journalist, mostly with CBC as a video journalist and radio host. He speaks on creative writing and oral storytelling, contemporary Anishinaabe culture and matters, Indigenous representation in arts and media, parenthood and community responsibilities, and more.

If you rely on a private or other non-municipal water source, your water quality may change over time. Visit any of our three locations to pick up your free water testing bottle and ensure the safety of your home’s water.

Dog Tags
Available at all branches during regular hours of operation
Need a dog tag? Stop in at any of our branch locations to obtain your Lifetime Dog Tags. A valid Rabies Vaccination record is required. Cost is $50.00 per license, cash only accepted.

Burn Permits
Available at all branches during regular hours of operation
Planning on burning? Get your open air burn permit today! Just stop into any of our three branches to fill out your application. Cost is $20.00, cash only accepted.

Parking Passes
Available at all branches during regular hours of operation
Get your free parking pass at any one of our three branches! Proof of residency must be provided.

Battery Recycling
Available at all branches during regular hours of operation
When those well used batteries wear out just bring them into any one of our branch locations to recycle them. Accepting single-use batteries and rechargeable weighing 5 kgs or less each. No wet-cell, damaged or defective batteries accepted.
